AIMedia Expands 3PL Facility
April 1, 2011 AIMedia expanded its 3PL and Fulfillment facilities in Nashville, TN (Old Hickory) to include an additional 40,000sf of warehouse space. The expansion came as a result of increased demand from customers in the electronics and cable industries.
The expansion of their 3PL facility will allow AIMedia to dedicate more of their facility mapping to Consumer Premises Equipment (CPE) for the MSO industry which typically includes HD DVR's, cable boxes, modems, and VOIP hardware. The facility will also be the hub for special programs dealing with modem upgrades, modem swaps, battery replacement programs, recovery, and obsolescence programs.
The facility increase gives AIMedia a total of 100,000sf in their Nashville facility. Their Las Vegas facility currently operates a 40,000sf facility as well and provides similar services to customers on the West Coast. AIMedia currently provides 3PL services to customers such as Cox Communications, Suddenlink Communications, and Insight Communications.
